Subscribe to our YouTube channel, MAN: Migrations and Nations. The BAC PRO SAPAT Terminale (senior high school) from Sainte Cécile High School in Montoire, France, completed the Erasmus program: Migration and Nations, in April 2019. This program was conducted in English.
From March 31 to April 6, 2019, five students and two professors from our school traveled to Bari, Italy. They went to finalize their reflective work with their Italian and Swedish counterparts. During this stay, they visited a refugee camp for migrants awaiting their refugee status. This visit provided valuable insights into the challenges faced by migrants.
The team created a slideshow illustrating the issue of migration. The presentation highlighted political implications and proposed ways to better handle and welcome migrants. Emphasis was placed on promoting tolerance and goodwill.
Throughout their stay, the students engaged in meaningful discussions and collaborative activities. These experiences enriched their understanding of the complex issues surrounding migration. Working closely with their Italian and Swedish peers, they gained diverse perspectives and developed a deeper appreciation for cultural differences.
